At Golden Flowers, we work at the intersection of editorial and earthy: bold, structured arrangements that have real presence in a grand space, built from a deliberate mix of locally grown materials and selectively imported blooms that bring color, texture, and scale when the season calls for it. We source from farms in the Nevada County foothills, work with growers close to the Tahoe Basin, and supplement with imported flowers chosen for their quality and how well they sit alongside what's growing locally. Nothing gets imported for convenience. Everything earns its place.

The Ritz Carlton Ballroom anchors most large receptions here, with soaring wood-beam ceilings, wrought-iron chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the Sierra Nevada. It's a room that rewards scale: full, lush centerpieces with height and movement, installations that hold their own against the architecture. The smaller Pines Ballroom offers a more intimate feeling with a private outdoor terrace — better suited to tighter, more textural arrangements where the detail work reads up close. In summer, ceremonies take place in the Meadows, with cocktail hour on the Fireside Terrace — an outdoor sequence that moves from open alpine sky to the warmth of a stone fireplace, and calls for florals that transition naturally between the two moods.
