Lake Tahoe wedding florist: What to expect when you work with golden flowers

There are a lot of florists serving the Lake Tahoe market and many options for Lake Tahoe wedding flowers. What makes one the right fit for your wedding isn’t just a pretty portfolio — it’s process, communication, and whether their design sensibility actually matches yours.

This is what it looks like to work with Golden Flowers.

Who We Are

Golden Flowers is a Lake Tahoe wedding florist based in Incline Village. We design artful, sustainable florals rooted in the natural landscape — foraged textures, locally grown blooms, and arrangements that feel like they belong in the mountains rather than imported from a wholesale warehouse. We source from Nevada County and California farms whenever possible and grow some of what we use ourselves.

We take one wedding per date. That’s not a sales line — it’s how we protect the quality of our work and give every couple our full attention.

The Areas We Serve

We design for weddings across the Lake Tahoe region and greater Sierra Nevada, including North Lake Tahoe, West Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe, Nevada City, and Grass Valley. We’ve worked at Edgewood Tahoe, The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe, Sugar Pine Point, The North Lake Tahoe Event Center, Harmony Ridge, Olympic Valley Stables, The Chateau at Incline Village, The National Exchange Hotel, and private estates throughout the forest.

If your venue isn’t on that list, reach out anyway. We love a new venue.

Our Design Approach

We don’t have a signature look in the sense of one aesthetic we repeat. What we do have is a point of view — we design with the landscape in mind, use seasonal and locally grown material wherever possible, and build arrangements with structure that holds up in the conditions Tahoe weddings actually happen in: wind, altitude, heat, and full Sierra sun.

Some couples come to us wanting wild and foraged. Some want clean and editorial. Some want dark and moody. We’ve done all of it. What we won’t do is talk you into something that doesn’t feel like you.

What the Process Looks Like

It starts with a consultation — either in person or over video — where we talk through your vision, venue, date, and budget. From there we put together a custom proposal. No cookie-cutter packages, no upselling stems you don’t need.

Once you’re booked, we stay in contact as your date approaches, refine the design as needed, and handle all setup, movement of florals and breakdown on the day. You don’t manage us, we manage ourselves.
