Brittany was born and raised in Monterey County, Golden Flowers began in Lake Tahoe, and Monterey is now our second home base for floral design. We design weddings from Santa Cruz down to Big Sur.
It's the same studio and the same team couples hire in Tahoe, with the same way of working. Every design is planned months ahead, built around what's in season on your date, and set by the people who designed it.

Clifftop and ocean view ceremonies often catch a strong breeze. Arches and installations are built and anchored for it, so they hold their shape through the last dance.
Coastal light is soft, and the fog can roll in by late afternoon. We choose colors and textures that still read beautifully in grey light, not only in full sun.
We buy from growers in Watsonville, Salinas and other California farms first, and source further afield only when a design calls for it.
Every design is foam-free, on the coast the same as in the mountains.
